Red Cross Volunteers Head to SW Missouri

Two Red Cross volunteers from St Joseph were dispatched to southwest Missouri Wednesday to help out with the recovery from last weekend's tornado. Glenn Drake, a retired health-care administrator, says he'll be connecting victims with the services they'll need, and offering prepaid credit cards to take care of immediate needs. Drake tells us he became a volunteer about three years ago, and has already been assigned to several disaster zones in Missouri, Kansas and Minnesota among other places. |
